Liquid Facelift in Irvine, CA

A liquid facelift can help you achieve age-defying results without the downtime and surgery involved in a traditional facelift. At Newport Plastic Surgery, we are proud to offer this and other injectable treatments with Dr. Go, a triple board-certified plastic surgeon and board-certified hand surgeon in Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Newport Beach, and the surrounding areas of CA.

What is a Liquid Facelift?

A liquid facelift is a non-surgical, minimally invasive facelift alternative that is performed using dermal fillers and injectables. A liquid facelift is designed to address a range of age-related concerns like wrinkles, fine lines, and volume loss (much like a traditional facelift). However, thanks to the use of dermal fillers and injectables, the treatment is quick, virtually painless, and requires absolutely no downtime. For each treatment, Dr. Go will use a unique combination of dermal filler and injectable treatments to address a patient’s specific cosmetic concerns. The liquid facelift treatment can be used to treat any of the following:

  • Forehead wrinkles
  • Nasolabial folds (Smile lines)
  • Frown lines
  • Crow’s feet
  • Volume loss in the cheeks
  • Volume loss in the lips
  • Marionette lines
  • Lipstick lines
  • Chin wrinkles
  • Other various lines and wrinkles

How Much Does a Liquid Facelift Cost?

The cost of a liquid facelift can vary depending on the extent of treatment necessary to deliver a patient’s desired results. When you schedule a consultation with Dr. Go of Newport Plastic Surgery, he will develop a personalized treatment plan based on your specific cosmetic goals. Once this treatment plan is developed, we will be able to provide you with the exact cost of treatment. We also offer financing through CareCredit® to make this and other treatments more affordable.

How Are Liquid Facelifts Administered?

Liquid facelifts are administered through a number of injections into various areas of the face. The injection process is generally well-tolerated, and for the occasional hypersensitive patient, we offer a topical anesthetic and/or anesthetic nerve blocks to minimize discomfort. The liquid facelift treatment typically takes less than an hour to complete, which is why it and many similar injectable treatments are referred to as “lunchtime” or “lunch break” treatments.

What is Recovery Like After a Liquid Facelift Treatment?

After a liquid facelift, patients may notice mild bruising, swelling, or redness around the injection sites. These effects are common, and typically fade within a few days. Despite these side effects, patients will be able to return to work and other normal activities immediately after their appointment. There is no downtime required after a liquid facelift.

What Kind of Results Can I Expect from a Liquid Facelift?

Dr. Go takes pride in personally performing all injections for his private patients and does not allow medical assistants, nurses, medical students, or surgical residents practice on his patients.  You will notice results from your liquid facelift immediately, as dermal fillers provide an instant increase in facial volume that smooths out lines and wrinkles. Additional results from collagen stimulators or injectables like Botox® will become visible in the days and weeks following treatment. The results from a liquid facelift can last anywhere from a few months to over a year, depending on each individual and the injectable products involved in treatment.
