Newport Plastic Surgery carries a range of Restylane® products to help patients address all of their age-related cosmetic concerns. These treatments are available through Dr. Go, a highly sought-after physician in Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Irvine, and the nearby areas of California.
What is Restylane®?
Restylane® is a family of dermal filler products composed of hyaluronic acid. The formulas are designed to act just like your body’s natural hyaluronic acid to produce results that look and feel natural. Upon injection, Restylane® can smooth out lines, wrinkles, and folds in the skin to produce a more youthful appearance. There are a number of Restylane® products available, each designed to address a specific cosmetic concern or area of the face. These treatments can be used to address the following cosmetic concerns:
- Loss of volume in the cheeks
- Loss of volume in the lips
- Loss of volume in the hands
- Nasolabial folds
- Smile lines
- Various wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth
How Much Does Restylane® Cost?
The cost of Restylane® can vary depending on the extent of treatment necessary to deliver a patient’s desired results. When you schedule a consultation with Dr. Go of Newport Plastic Surgery, he will develop a personalized treatment plan based on your specific cosmetic goals. Once this treatment plan is developed, we will be able to provide you with the exact cost of treatment. We also offer financing through CareCredit® to make this and other treatments more affordable.
What is Restylane® Silk?
Restylane® Silk is designed specifically for lip augmentation, and is composed of smaller, finer particles than other Restylane® products for especially smooth results. This can be an ideal treatment for patients who have experienced age-related volume loss in the lips or would simply like to enhance lip volume and shape.
What is Restylane® Lyft?
Restylane® Lyft is a versatile Restylane® product that can be used for hand rejuvenation, volume loss in the cheeks, and moderate to severe facial folds. It is one of the few hyaluronic acid products that is designed for use in both the face and the hands.
What is Restylane® Refyne?
Restylane® Refyne is used to smooth out lines around the mouth, including nasolabial folds and marionette lines. It is crafted with XpresHAn Technology™, which ensures that your face will still maintain its natural expressiveness and feel after treatment, eliminating the “frozen” look that is often associated with injectable treatments.
What is Restylane® Defyne?
Restylane® Defyne offers the same benefits as Restylane® Refyne, but is designed for deeper wrinkles and lines around the mouth. It is also crafted with XpresHAn Technology™ for smooth, natural results.
How is Restylane® Administered?
Restylane® is administered through a number of injections into and around the desired treatment area. The injection process is generally well-tolerated, and we offer a topical anesthetic to minimize discomfort. The Restylane® treatment takes less than 30 minutes to complete, which is why it and many similar injectable treatments are referred to as “lunchtime” or “lunch break” treatments.
What is Recovery Like After a Restylane® Treatment?
After a Restylane® treatment, patients may notice mild bruising, swelling, or redness around the injection site. These effects are common, and typically fade within a few days. Despite these side effects, patients will be able to return to work and other normal activities immediately after their appointment. There is no downtime required after Restylane®.
What Kind of Results Can I Expect from Restylane®?
The results from your Restylane® treatment will be visible immediately as the formula adds volume to the skin, smoothing out lines and wrinkles. The results from Restylane® can last between six and 18 months, depending on the specific product used. After this time, many patients choose to receive additional treatments to maintain their results.
