Browlift

A crease here or a line there can give us the look of being wise, but as they deepen into furrows, that wise look can appear as a constant frown, even when we’re not unhappy, angry, or sad, or tired. A Brow Lift procedure can return our faces to truly reflect us as the energetic, spirited, happy people that we are.

Recent trends and advances in brow surgery have launched this into being one of the most versatile and customizable cosmetic procedures today. The browlift is often combined with other procedures such as eyelid surgery or a facelift to restore a more youthful look to the eyes and other areas of the face.

Am I a Candidate for a Brow Lift?
Ideally, patients between the ages of 40-60 who have lines or deep creases on the forehead, are in good health, and do not smoke are the best candidates for a Brow Lift.
The Procedure
Traditional Brow lift: Conventional methods, in which the incision is hidden beneath the hairline. With both methods, you may experience some numbness and discomfort at the incision. Your bandages will be removed in one to two days and the stitches (or clips) will be removed within two weeks.

You will be on your feet again within a day or two, and many patients are able to return to work in just over a week. Any swelling and bruising should disappear by the end of the third week.
